HB 759 (2004)

relative to personal health and financial information privacy.

  • Status: Killed
  • Term: 2003-2004

The Story

It was introduced on January 30, 2003 and referred to the House Commerce committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 4, 2003. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held work sessions on September 17, 2003, October 16, 2003 and November 6, 2003. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 11–1, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 7, 2004 the House voted to kill it.
