The Story
It was introduced on September 4, 2003 and referred to the House Commerce committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 21, 2004. The committee held a work session on February 17, 2004. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 12–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 17, 2004 the House voted to kill it.
