The Story

It was introduced on January 9, 2003 and referred to the House Commerce committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 22, 2003. The committee held work sessions on February 6, 2003 and March 7, 2003. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 18–1, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 25, 2003 the House voted to kill it.
