The Story
It was introduced on January 9, 2003 and referred to the House Ways and Means committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 19, 2003. The committee held a work session on March 4, 2003. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 13–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 20, 2003 the House voted to kill it.
