Hollingworth, was adopted on a voice vote on May 1, 2001, changing the text of the bill. It crossed to the House and was referred to the House Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services committee. The committee held a public hearing on May 9, 2001. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes unanimously, 12–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On May 17, 2001 the House voted to pass it with changes, then referred it on to the House Executive Departments and Administration committee. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The committee held a work session on September 18, 2001. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 14–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. The bill was taken off the consent calendar on January 2, 2002. On January 2, 2002 the House adopted “Recommitted to Exec Depts & Admin” on a voice vote. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it.
