relative to the development and adoption of the school administrative unit budget.
- Status: Referred for interim study
- Term: 2001-2002
- House committee: Education
- Subject: Education - General
The Story
It was introduced on February 15, 2001 and referred to the House Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 7, 2001. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends. On January 10, 2002 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a voice vote. The committee held a work session on October 23, 2002. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “REC FOR LEGIS IN 2003”, by a vote of 12 to 2.
