  • Status: Killed
  • Term: 2001-2002
  • House committee: Municipal and County Government
  • Subject: Taxes - Local

The Story

It was introduced on January 25, 2001 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 7, 2001. On March 22, 2001 the House adopted “Susp Rules for Deadline” on a voice vote. The committee retained the bill, holding it for further work rather than reporting it out this year. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 15–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. The bill was taken off the consent calendar on January 2, 2002. On January 2, 2002 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
