The Story

It was introduced on January 25, 2001 and referred to the House Public Works and Highways committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 14, 2001. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 18–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. The bill was taken off the consent calendar on March 8, 2001. On March 8, 2001 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
