The Story
It was introduced on January 4, 2001 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 21, 2001. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 12–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 22, 2001 the House voted to kill it.
