The Story

It was introduced on January 4, 2001 and referred to the House Legislative Administration committee. The committee held public hearings on January 31, 2001 and February 14, 2001. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 13–1, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 8, 2001 the House voted to kill it.
