SB 425-FN (2000)
relative to the private activity bond limit.
- Status: Killed
- Term: 1999-2000
- House committee: Commerce
- Subject: Miscellaneous
The Story
It was introduced on January 5, 2000 and referred to the Senate Banks committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 2, 2000. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On March 16, 2000 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote and ordered it to a third reading. It crossed to the House and was referred to the House Finance committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Commerce committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on April 18, 2000. The committee held work sessions on April 26, 2000, May 3, 2000 and May 9, 2000. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 16–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On May 17, 2000 the House voted to kill it.
