The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 2000 and referred to the House Public Works and Highways committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 12, 2000. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 16–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On February 24, 2000 the House voted to kill it.
