The Story
It was introduced on January 7, 1998 and referred to the House Local and Regulated Revenues committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 13, 1998. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it by a vote of 11–9. On February 18, 1998 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote. On February 18, 1998 the House failed “Reconsider” on a voice vote, on a motion by Rep. Moynihan.
