The Story
It was introduced on January 7, 1998 and referred to the House Local and Regulated Revenues committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 13, 1998. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 15–5, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On February 18, 1998 the House voted to kill it.
