The Story

It was introduced on January 9, 1997 and referred to the House Local and Regulated Revenues committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 4, 1997. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 16–1. On February 19, 1997 the House voted to kill it.
