The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 1995 and referred to the Senate Public Institutions, Health and Human Services committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 13, 1995. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes. On March 15, 1995 the bill was referred to the Public Institutions, Health and Human Services committee. The committee voted 4–3 to recommend that the Senate kill it. On January 11, 1996 the Senate voted to kill it on a voice vote.
