The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 1995 and referred to the House Resources, Recreation and Development committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 17, 1995. The committee held a work session on February 1, 1995. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes unanimously, 15–0. On March 15, 1995 the House adopted “Special Order to 03/16/1995” on a voice vote. On March 16, 1995 the bill was referred to the Resources, Recreation and Development committee. The committee held work sessions on April 5, 1995, April 19, 1995, May 10, 1995, May 23, 1995, July 10, 1995, September 26, 1995, October 4, 1995 and October 11, 1995. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 17–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 3, 1996 the House voted to kill it.
