The Story

It was introduced on February 16, 1995 and referred to the House Finance committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 13, 1995. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 24–2. On April 6, 1995 the House adopted “Suspend Rules for report”, on a motion by Rep. A Torr & Trombly. On April 6, 1995 the House voted to kill it on a roll call 268–75.
