The Story

It was introduced on January 4, 1995 and referred to the House Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 18, 1995. The committee held work sessions on January 25, 1995 and February 15, 1995. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes unanimously, 19–0. On March 2, 1995 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 9, 1995 and was referred to the Senate Executive Departments and Administration committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 23, 1995. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On March 28, 1995 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote. An enrolled bill amendment (2408) was adopted on a voice vote on May 4, 1995. These correct technical errors found after passage.
