The Story

The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes unanimously, 13–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On April 14, 1994 the House voted to pass it with changes, then referred it on to the House Appropriations committee. The committee held a public hearing on April 20, 1994. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 13–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On April 28, 1994 the House voted to kill it.
