The Story
It was introduced on January 5, 1994 and referred to the House Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 15, 1994. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it unanimously, 16–0. On March 10, 1994 the House voted to adopt it on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on March 22, 1994 and was referred to the Senate Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on April 5, 1994. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On April 14, 1994 the Senate voted to adopt it on a voice vote.
