The Story
It was introduced on January 6, 1993 and referred to the House Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 21, 1993. The majority of the committee recommended that the House send it back to committee unanimously, 18–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On February 18, 1993 the bill was referred to the Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held work sessions on September 7, 1993, September 14, 1993 and September 21, 1993. The committee held public hearings on September 29, 1993 and October 27, 1993. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 12–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 5, 1994 the House voted to kill it.
