The Story
It was introduced on January 5, 1994 and referred to the House Ways and Means committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 1, 1994. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 10–8. On February 15, 1994 the House rejected a motion to study it after the session ends on a roll call 120–229, on a motion by Rep. Harwell. On February 15, 1994 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
