The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 1994 and referred to the House Judiciary committee. On February 8, 1994 the House adopted “Suspend Rules for hearing on 02/10/1994”, on a motion by Rep. A Torr. On March 10, 1994 the House voted to study it after the session ends. The committee held work sessions on April 19, 1994, April 28, 1994, May 4, 1994, May 18, 1994 and May 25, 1994. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Not Recommended for Future Legislation”, by a vote of 15 to 0.
