HB 1384-FN (1994)

regulating art therapists and authorizing licensing fees.

  • Status: Referred for interim study
  • Term: 1993-1994
  • House committee: Executive Departments and Administration
  • Subject: Occupational Regulation

The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 1994 and referred to the House Commerce, Small Business and Consumer Affairs committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Executive Departments and Administration committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on February 2, 1994. The committee held a work session on February 10, 1994. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends by a vote of 15–1. On February 16, 1994 the House adopted “Suspend Rules for report”, on a motion by Rep. A Torr & Trombly. On February 16, 1994 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a voice vote. The committee held work sessions on June 15, 1994, June 29, 1994, August 10, 1994, August 24, 1994, September 7, 1994, September 14, 1994 and October 19, 1994. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Not Recommended for Future Legislation”.
