The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 1994 and referred to the House Legislative Administration committee. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends unanimously, 11–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 15, 1994 the House voted to study it after the session ends. The committee held a work session on May 26, 1994. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Not Recommended for Future Legislation”, by a vote of 10 to 1.
