allowing free parking for jurors serving at regional jury trial courts.

  • Status: Referred for interim study
  • Term: 1993-1994
  • House committee: Judiciary
  • Subject: Courts and Procedure

The Story

It was introduced on January 5, 1994 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Judiciary committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on January 25, 1994. The majority recommended that the House study it after the session ends, and the minority recommended that the House pass it with changes, by a vote of 12–3. On February 16, 1994 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a voice vote. The committee held a work session on April 21, 1994. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Not Recommended for Future Legislation”, by a vote of 13 to 1.
