The Story
It was introduced on January 8, 1992 and referred to the Senate Ways and Means committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 30, 1992. The majority recommended that the Senate kill it, and the minority recommended that the Senate pass it with changes. On February 13, 1992 the Senate adopted “Special Order to 02/19/1992” on a voice vote. On February 19, 1992 the Senate voted to kill it and bar the subject for the rest of the term on a voice vote.
