The Story

It was introduced on January 8, 1992 and referred to the Senate Banks committee. The committee held public hearings on January 14, 1992 and February 20, 1992. On February 20, 1992 the Senate adopted “Suspend Rules to consider”, on a motion by Sen. Currier. On February 20, 1992 the Senate voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote, then referred it on to the Senate Economic Development committee. The committee recommended that the Senate kill it. On March 5, 1992 the Senate voted to kill it on a voice vote.
