The Story
It was introduced on February 5, 1991 and referred to the House Municipal and County Government committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 28, 1991. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it by a vote of 14–3. On March 20, 1991 the bill was referred to the Municipal and County Government committee. The committee held a work session on April 10, 1991. The committee held a public hearing on May 14, 1991. The committee met in executive session on October 10, 1991 to vote on its recommendation. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 15–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 8, 1992 the House voted to kill it.
