The Story
It was introduced on January 3, 1991 and referred to the House Regulated Revenues committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 25, 1991. The majority of the committee recommended that the House send it back to committee unanimously, 19–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 7, 1991 the bill was referred to the Regulated Revenues committee. The committee met in executive session on October 31, 1991 to vote on its recommendation. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 12–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 8, 1992 the House voted to kill it.
