  • Status: Referred for interim study
  • Term: 1991-1992
  • House committee: Resources, Recreation and Development
  • Subject: Environment - Conservation

The Story

It was introduced on January 8, 1992 and referred to the House Transportation committee. The House withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Resources, Recreation and Development committee instead. The committee held a work session on January 24, 1992. The committee held a public hearing on January 28, 1992. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends by a vote of 11–4, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On February 11, 1992 the House voted to study it after the session ends. The committee held a work session on October 27, 1992. The committee met in executive session on October 29, 1992 to vote on its recommendation. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Inexpedient to Legislate”, by a vote of 11 to 0.
