HB 1237 (1992)

revising statutory references to the New Hampshire Charitable Fund.

  • Status: Signed into law
  • Term: 1991-1992
  • House committee: Constitutional and Statutory Revision
  • Senate committee: Judiciary
  • Subject: Miscellaneous

The Story

The committee held a public hearing on January 7, 1992. It was introduced on January 8, 1992 and referred to the House Constitutional and Statutory Revision committee. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it unanimously, 14–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 30, 1992 the House voted to pass it. It crossed to the Senate on February 4, 1992 and was referred to the Senate Judiciary committee. The committee recommended that the Senate pass it. On March 19, 1992 the Senate voted to pass it on a voice vote. The bill was enrolled on March 26, 1992 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor. The governor signed it on April 3, 1992, making it Chapter 24 of the session laws. It took effect on April 3, 1992.
