The Story

It was introduced on January 8, 1992 and referred to the Senate Internal Affairs committee. The committee held public hearings on January 16, 1992, January 30, 1992 and February 12, 1992. The committee recommended that the Senate kill it. On February 19, 1992 the Senate voted to lay it on the table on a roll call 17–5. On May 7, 1992 the Senate voted to kill it, on a motion by Sen. Hough.
