The Story
It was introduced on February 5, 1991 and referred to the House Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 7, 1991. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 17–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. The bill was taken off the consent calendar on March 19, 1991. On March 19, 1991 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
