The Story
It was introduced on January 3, 1991 and referred to the House Fish and Game committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 13, 1991. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes unanimously, 16–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 5, 1991 the House voted to pass it with changes. It crossed to the Senate on March 7, 1991 and was referred to the Senate Wildlife and Recreation committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 28, 1991. The committee recommended that the Senate kill it. On April 2, 1991 the Senate voted to kill it on a voice vote.
