The Story
It was introduced on January 3, 1991 and referred to the House Judiciary committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 5, 1991. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 12–1, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On March 19, 1991 the House adopted “Suspend Rules to consider on 03/19/1991”, on a motion by Rep. Gross & Chambers. On March 19, 1991 the House voted to kill it.
