The Story

It was introduced on January 3, 1990 and referred to the House Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 23, 1990. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 15–2, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On February 6, 1990 the House voted to kill it.
