The Story

It was introduced on January 3, 1990 and referred to the House Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held public hearings on January 18, 1990 and January 24, 1990. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it by a vote of 13–2. On February 13, 1990 the House voted to pass it on a voice vote. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Inexpedient to Legislate”, by a vote of 13 to 2.
