The Story

The majority of the committee recommended that the House send it back to committee unanimously, 11–0. On March 9, 1989 the bill was referred to the Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services committee. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it by a vote of 10–1. On January 4, 1990 the House voted to kill it on a voice vote.
