The Story
It was introduced on January 24, 1989 and referred to the House Fish and Game committee. The committee held a public hearing on February 23, 1989. The majority of the committee recommended that the House send it back to committee by a vote of 13–2. On March 7, 1989 the bill was referred to the Fish and Game committee. The majority of the committee recommended that the House kill it unanimously, 11–0, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On January 4, 1990 the House voted to kill it.
