The Story
It was introduced on January 3, 1990 and referred to the House Environment and Agriculture committee. The committee held public hearings on January 18, 1990 and January 24, 1990. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes unanimously, 16–0. On February 13, 1990 the House voted to pass it with changes on a voice vote. It crossed to the Senate on February 15, 1990 and was referred to the Senate Development, Recreation and Environment committee. The Senate withdrew that referral and sent the bill to the Internal Affairs committee instead. The committee held a public hearing on March 19, 1990. The committee recommended that the Senate kill it. On March 22, 1990 the Senate voted to kill it.
