The Story
It was introduced on January 3, 1990 and referred to the House Resources, Recreation and Development committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 9, 1990. The majority of the committee recommended that the House pass it with changes by a vote of 12–1, and the report was placed on the consent calendar. On February 14, 1990 the House voted to pass it with changes. It crossed to the Senate on February 15, 1990 and was referred to the Senate Development, Recreation and Environment committee. The committee held a public hearing on March 14, 1990. The committee recommended that the Senate study it after the session ends. On March 22, 1990 the Senate voted to study it after the session ends.
