The Story

The committee recommended that the Senate pass it with changes. The committee's amendment () was adopted on March 22, 1990, changing the text of the bill. A floor amendment () was adopted on March 22, 1990, changing the text of the bill. On March 22, 1990 the Senate voted to pass it with changes. On April 3, 1990 the House voted to reject the other chamber's changes on a voice vote. On April 10, 1990 the Senate adopted “Accede to Request for Committee of Conference”.
