The Story

It was introduced on January 3, 1990 and referred to the House State Institutions and Housing committee. The committee held a public hearing on January 25, 1990. The majority of the committee recommended that the House study it after the session ends by a vote of 12–2. On February 6, 1990 the House voted to study it after the session ends on a voice vote. The committee reported back on its interim study of the bill: “Inexpedient to Legislate”, by a vote of 8 to 0.
