The Story

On March 27, 1990 the Senate voted to pass it with changes. A floor amendment () was adopted on March 29, 1990, changing the text of the bill. On April 12, 1990 the Senate adopted “Accede to Request for Committee of Conference”. On April 19, 1990 the House adopted “Conference Committee Report” on a voice vote. The bill was enrolled on April 19, 1990 — the final check of the text before it goes to the governor. The governor signed it on April 27, 1990, making it Chapter 194 of the session laws. It took effect on June 26, 1990.
