Where it stands
House: INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE
Every floor vote on this bill was a voice or division vote, so there is no record of how individual legislators voted.
A bill goes on the consent calendar when the committee vote was unanimous or nearly so, and any members who dissented did not object to placing it there. It then passes without floor debate. Ten members may file a petition to pull a bill off the consent calendar and have it debated and voted on separately.

Committee — INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE
Funding operations by borrowing money is bad policy; the practice of borrowing is bad policy even when capital expenses are involved. Our ability to fund building aid has been, and will continue to be, limited until 2041 due to the state’s need to repay the $560 million in loans assumed by the state in 2009-2011. This past debt will finally be paid off in 2041. Vote 16-0.
