Where it stands
House: CONCURRED · Senate: PASSED/ADOPTED WITH AMENDMENT
Every floor vote on this bill was a voice or division vote, so there is no record of how individual legislators voted.
A bill goes on the consent calendar when the committee vote was unanimous or nearly so, and any members who dissented did not object to placing it there. It then passes without floor debate. Ten members may file a petition to pull a bill off the consent calendar and have it debated and voted on separately.

Committee — OUGHT TO PASS WITH AMENDMENT
This bill addresses membership of the Agriculture in the Classroom Committee. The amendment replaces the existing Granite State Dairy Promotion seat with broader language providing for one representative of the New Hampshire dairy industry, appointed by the governor. Granite State Dairy Promotion has dissolved, and leaving it in statute creates an appointment that cannot be filled. The amendment preserves dairy representation while removing reference to a single entity. The bill also corrects a scrivener’s error by replacing “commissioner” with “committee” in the annual reporting section, clarifying responsibility. The bill does not change the committee’s mission or authority. Vote 13-0.
