Committee — OUGHT TO PASS
This bill would authorize New Hampshire law enforcement agencies who train and work with cadaver dogs to possess human remains for training purposes. Due to strict laws regarding the proper handling and disposal of human remains, it has become extremely difficult for these animals to be properly trained. This bill would rectify that by authorizing the donation and possession of human remains for this purpose. These animals are a crucial tool for law enforcement for use in disasters and criminal investigations. Vote 13-0.
