This committee has met regularly and fulfilled all of its responsibilities. It has interested and engaged membership. During the public hearing, the final report for the committee’s most recent period was distributed and the report described in detail the work in which the committee had been engaged. The sponsor requested that the committee be renewed for at least another year. Given its diligent work and the importance of the issues upon which it is focused, the Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee recommends that this committee continue. Vote 17-1.
